Netflix not available on Nintendo Switch

Netflix will be not available on WiiU and Nintendo 3DS from June 30
The Netflix application is not available on Nintendo Switch, but it is on previous company consoles: in fact, on the latest Nintendo machines you can access the video on demand platform without problems, or at least you can until June 30, 2021, when Netflix will no longer be available on Wii U and Nintendo 3DS.
It was Nintendo itself that announced this decision through its eShop, the digital store that brings together all the applications and video games from all its consoles. If we agree to try to download the Netflix application we will see a notice that since December 31, 2020 it is no longer available for new downloads, although those who already had it can download it again
Of course, the service of these applications will only be available until June 30, 2021, the day on which Netflix will directly stop working on WiiU and Nintendo 3DS, including all systems of both families of consoles. Those who made use of the platform on these consoles will have to find new sites to watch their series and movies on demand.
Netflix coming to Nintendo Switch?
As a farewell, Netflix has added a final message to the description of its application in these systems: "Thank you to all who have enjoyed Netflix on these platforms throughout these years," says the message. The video-on-demand application arrived on Nintendo 3DS in 2011, the same year as its worldwide launch, in the same way that it was also available on WiiU since its arrival on the market.
Some have wanted to see in this movement the prelude to the arrival of Netflix to Switch, but for now neither the video company nor Nintendo have made an announcement about this possibility: for now, the only streaming platforms available in the hybrid are YouTube and Hulu While others like Spotify seem to refuse to bring their app to Switch. Reggie Fils-Aime, former president of Nintendo of America, said in 2018 that "other services will come over time," but ask Netflix to find out whether or not they were working on an app.
