All Winner on The Game Awards 2020

The Game Awards 2020: The Last Of Us Part 2 Wins Big, Final Fantasy Vii Remake, Among Us Also Recognized

Going into The Game Awards 2020, The Last of Us Part 2 was a favorite in almost every category it was nominated in, and it almost won all of them. The game walked away with seven trophies, including Game of the Year, Best Narrative, and Best Action/Adventure game.

Final Fantasy VII Remake and Among Us both took home a couple of trophies.

Hosted by The Game Awards founder and former journalist, Geoff Keighley, the show featured appearances from celebrities like Gal Gadot, Keanu Reeves, Tom Holland, Brie Larson, Ralph Macchio, and director Christopher Nolan, along with video game favorites Nolan North, Troy Baker, and JackSepticEye. There were also great musical performances from Eddie Vedder of Pearl Jam and The London Philharmonic Orchestra.

Of course, no Game Awards would be complete without awesome announcements and world premiere trailers. Some of the highlights include teasers for the return of Perfect Dark, Mass Effect, and Dragon Age, plus the announcement of Sephiroth joining Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
